Sweet Chestnut (T1) - Reduce crown back to previous pruning points by approx. 2–3m to maintain the tree at an appropriate size for its restricted garden setting and close proximity to the dwelling. The works are proposed as part of the tree’s ongoing cyclical management and will help maintain reasonable clearance from the property whilst reducing excessive shading and branch encroachment. Pruning will be undertaken in accordance with BS3998 recommendations, retaining the tree in a natural and balanced form appropriate to the species.
