Ash (T1) – Removal of one lateral limb overhanging the dwelling.T1 is a mature tree with a single extended lateral limb growing directly over the roof of the home, creating excessive end-weight and an increased mechanical load on the branch. Due to its position and orientation, failure of this limb would present a foreseeable risk of damage to property.The proposed works are limited in scope and are intended to reduce risk while retaining the overall form, health, and amenity value of the tree. Removal of this limb will improve the tree’s biomechanical stability and reduce the likelihood of failure during periods of high wind or adverse weather.
