1no. Ash (T1) – Pollarding to a height of approx 6m. Tree is situated on bank of stream, growing towards & overhanging the adjacent residential property. The stream is actively eroding the bank, which is beginning to undermine the tree’s root plate. Pollarding is proposed to significantly reduce sail effect & overall weight of canopy, thereby lowering risk of structural failure in the direction of the property. Proposed works are considered necessary to mitigate risk while preserving the tree in a form appropriate to its setting.
