Oaks (G25)- Reduce overhanging lateral branches (gardens side only) by up to 3m limiting pruning wounds to no more than 100mm diameter and maintaining a natural shaped crown.Reason: Branches overhang the garden significantly reducing visible sky. The trees and building are very close to each other so regular maintenance to check the trees growth towards the house is unavoidable. Pruning now will avoid excessive pruning in the future. the proposed pruning will create a framework for any future reductions. Sympathetic pruning should not adversely affect the trees health, amenity or longevity.
