Description

T1, Monterey Cypress : reduce mass by 30% of branch to south / southwest over parking bay, emanating at 6m from a bark included fork, by a combination of thinning and reduction. Pruning cuts of up to 50mm diameter -Thin top of stem to south west with linear feature at 8m (spot marked at base with tree paint) by 30% foliage mass by making pruning cuts of up to 75mm diameter, the un thinned branches will not be shortened to preserve the form of the tree canopy. The works will be caried in accordance with BS 3998 2010.The proposed static brace will be -- Invasive drilled static system; with a steel cable connected to eye bolts or threaded rod with eye-nuts, drilled through the stem. - With a minimum breaking strain of at least 4T (recommending 8T).- A vertical distance of at least 50cm above the existing brace.- Works to be carried out to BS 3998 (Annex D) / European Cabling and Bracing Standard
