Description

T1 Large Beech - Reduce in height by 6-8m to approximately where the major deadwood and significantly declining areas of the crown can be removed. Reduce lateral spread by 3-4mTree has fruiting bodies present for Kretzschmaria Deusta at the base in small density. The crown overhangs the road and is already in poor condition with large sections of major deadwood and previous large failures. Crown overhangs the public road considerably. A significant reduction is proposed to retain the tree for a few years whilst managing its declining condition and presence of Brittle Cinder.For reference: Fungal fruiting bodies seen on the south side of the stem close to ground level
