Request for a Screening Opinion under Regulation 6 of the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations (2017) for the demolition of existing, vacant leisure centre, ground-level car parking, BMX track, skatepark, Childrens play area and outdoor gym; construction of a new leisure centre (Use Class E/F2) (with a 50m x 10 lane swimming pool); construction of new outdoor leisure facilities (pump track, skatepark, playground, outdoor gym); provision of 140 car parking spaces, 140 cycle parking spaces and coach drop-off to serve the leisure centre; construction of six new buildings of 2 to 10 storeys in height to provide circa 300 new residential dwellings (Use Class C3) with 20 disabled parking spaces and one car club parking space, landscaping and access.
