The proposed development consists of the removal of the existing garage roof and garage door. The construction of a new insulated timber frame structure inside of the existing garage walls to accommodate a new living room. The floor of the existing garage is to be raised to run level with the finished floor level of the existing house. The parapet level of the proposed new roof will finish 400mm above the level of the existing garage parapet to accommodate an internal floor to ceiling height of 2.4m. A new window and a brickwork wall are to fill the opening of the existing garage door, all proposed finishes to match existing house.
