Description
The protected structure is my family home. It is bounded to the north by Mount Merrion Avenue and to the west by Sydney Avenue. Its main entrance, which is pedestrian only (i.e. no driveway), is on Mount Merrion Avenue, by way of a pedestrian gate opening onto a pedestrian pathway, running from the gate to the front hall door through the front garden. There is no off street parking. There is a pedestrian side door within the Site’s boundary wall which opens on to Sydney Avenue (the Side Door), located within the boundary wall and which allows pedestrian access into the rear garden of the Protected Structure located on the Site. Proposed change My proposal is to enlarge the existing Side Door by increasing its width by 30 to 50 cm to facilitate the ingress/egress of a motorbike by wheeling it through the Side Door, for its safe storage. There is no proposed change to the Side Door’s height.
