Description

The proposed Costal Mobility Scheme Development to urban public realm, public and non-public roads (c 4.7km) constitutes Development in accordance with the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) that requires an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Appropriate Assessment (AA). The Development Includes:- 1. Works comprising physical interventions, improvements partially in a business district, and 2. Change of use comprising repurposing of roads from use by motorised and non-motorised vehicles to only use by motorised vehicles to form a 2-way cycle track. The development entails making an existing temporary development, that was not assessed, carried out in 2020 permanent as well as additional sections of proposed development.
