4. The following requirements of the Planning Authority’s Conservation Section shall be fully complied within the proposed development: Note to applicant: All future Conservation repairs including floors, internal walls and ceilings at this site, and such other works as are undertaken to facilitate the conversion of the protected structure to a single dwelling unit, shall be subject of a future planning application or Section 5 application as appropriate. Prior to the commencement of the development, the applicant shall submit for the written approval of the planning authority: Solar panels h) The applicant shall submit information to show the impacts of the new solar panel array on the structural fabric, including a method statement and confirmation of materials; the location of associated equipment such as pipe routes and/or hot water tank; the location of solar batteries due to the potential increased fire risk associated with them; the alarm systems required to indicate a potential issue. The method statement should include as much detail as possible including fixings and any impacts on or strengthening of the roof structure if required. NB the current fibre cement ‘slate’ roof covering is unauthorised.
