8. The following Parks, Biodiversity and Landscape Services Division requirements shall be adhered to : e) Prior to the commencement the applicant will confirm the appointment of a project ecologist to the planning authority for written agreement. The appointed ecologist will oversee the implementation and monitoring of all mitigation measures within the application’s Natura Impact Assessment and Ecology Report and report on their status to the Planning Authority at pre- construction, during construction and post construction stages. All mitigation measures contained within the Appropriate Assessment /Natura Impact Statement reports and Ecology Report shall be carried out. f) Prior to commencement of works, the developer shall submit documentation prepared by an ecologist stating whether any invasive species are located within the site. Where such species are identified, the developer shall safely remove the plant material in accordance with current regulations.
