Description

It is recommended that the requirements for Transportation are undertaken as follows a. Prior to commencement of development, full detailed design of all works to the public road and public realm shall be submitted to and agreed in writing with the planning authority. The applicant shall contact the planning authority prior to lodgement to ascertain the requirements of Environment and Transportation section of Dublin City Council for all works to the public road and public realm. Materials in public areas shall be in accordance with the document Construction Standards for Roads and Street Works in Dublin City Council. Any works to the public road and the public realm including provision of upgraded junctions, pedestrian crossings, road and footpath modifications, lighting, drainage and materials considered acceptable to Dublin City Council including the preparation of Road Safety Audits, shall be carried out at the developer’s expense and completed prior to the occupation of the development.
