2. The developer shall comply with the following requirements of the Conservation Officer: (b) Prior to the commencement of the development, the applicant shall submit the following for the written approval of the planning authority: (i) Revised drawings showing the proposed solar panels omitted from the side elevations of the main roof and relocated to either the central valley and / or on the roof of the flat roofed extension. (ii) Revised location of associated service runs and battery storage due to the new arrangement. (iii) A method statement and clarification of materials; the location of associated equipment such as pipe routes and/or hot water tank; the location of solar batteries and alarm systems . The method statement should contain accurate details of likely impacts to historic fabric, and other details such as openings, maintenance hatches, fixings and how service routes will be accommodated through the roof structure. Where roof timbers and/or floor joists need to be strengthened for structural reasons, details of those works shall be submitted.
