5. The applicant shall comply with the following conditions from the Conservation Officer: (a) The applicant shall submit for the written approval of the planning authority: (i) Site exemplars for masonry cleaning, raking out of cementitious joints, brick repairs, wig repointing to brickwork and flush pointing to granite rustication shall be provided for inspection and written agreement by the Consevation Officer. Pointing mortar shall be mixed with NHL 2. (ii) Where replacement slates are required to meet a shortfall of the original, a photographic sample and description of the proposed slate type shall be provided for the written agreement by the Conservation Officer.
