The applicant/developer shall provide justification for the proposed window types and scaled drawings of the proposed windows, demonstrating that these will be accurately based on surviving historic windows on the neighbouring buildings. 1:20 drawings of proposed window types, indicating the layout of panes, the profile of glazing bars and design of the window horns and the profile of window heads shall be submitted. Details of the proposed new glazing should also be submitted. The applicant shall ensure that any proposed slim-line glass replacements conform to EU directives and shall confirm this in writing to the planning authority.
