9. The applicant shall comply with the following Conservation Section requirements (B) Buildings A, B and C (i) In advance of works commencing on site, the applicant shall submit detailed drawings, indicating method of fixings, precedent images and selected RAL colour of the proposed projecting sign and individually mounted non illuminated signs proposed to all elevations of Buildings A, B and C for the written agreement of the Planning Authority. The projecting signs on the Protected Structures shall not be light-boxes nor directly illuminated. The proposed new lettering in the form of arches is considered to be inappropriate for these Protected Structures. (E) Awnings: Having regard for the Dublin City Council Shopfront Design Guide for details of appropriate awning design that would be acceptable for these Protected Structures, the design and the number of awnings shall be agreed with the planning authority in writing in advance of works commencing. (i) The applicant shall submit elevational drawings and detailed drawings of the proposed awnings, including method of fixings and selected RAL colour of the proposed awnings for the written agreement of the Planning Authority. (ii) The new awnings shall not incorporate any corporate logo, name, advertising nor branding of any kind and shall be a muted colour to be agreed with the Planning Authority.
