6. The developer shall comply with the following requirements of the Drainage Division of Dublin City Council: a) The developer shall comply with the Greater Dublin Regional Code of Practice for Drainage Works Version 6.0 (available from www.dublincity.ie Forms and Downloads). b) The development is to be drained on a completely separate foul and surface water system. c) The development shall incorporate Sustainable Drainage Systems in the management of surface water as shown on Proposed Site Layout Plan – drawing no. 23089-200 which includes a proposal to construct a soakaway as part of this development. The design and construction of soakaways must comply with the requirements of BRE Digest 365 and CIRIA C753. d) In accordance with Policy SI24 of the Dublin City Council’s Development Plan 2022-2028 all surface water run-off from the new/ extended domestic driveways, repaired/ replacement driveway and vehicular entrance shall be managed through the use of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), ensuring no increase in surface water discharges to the public drainage network. e) Demolition: Developer must protect all public sewers and ensure that no demolition debris or construction material enters the public sewers. f) All private drainage such as, downpipes, gullies, manholes, armstrong junctions, etc. are to be located within the final site boundary. Private drainage is not permitted in public areas, or areas intended to be taken in charge. Reason: To ensure the protection of public drainage infrastructure, and the satisfactory management of surface water runoff and flood risk as a result of the development.
