Description

EXPP: The proposed works comprise the erection of a temporary timber fence with a maximum height of 2 metres to replace the existing heras fencing along the side boundary of the site at the rear of 50 & 50A Saint Alphonsus Avenue, Dublin 9. The purpose of this fence is to prevent unauthorised access and ensure public safety given the currently vacant and unsecured nature of the property. The property is located within an Architectural Conservation Area (ACA). We submit that the proposed temporary perimeter fence is considered exempted development under Schedule 2, Part 1, Class 11 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended), which provides for: The construction, erection, lowering, repair or replacement, other than within or bounding the curtilage of a house - (a) any fence (not being a hoarding or sheet metal fence)....
