Description

6. The development shall comply with the following requirements of the Transportation Planning Division: a) Prior to occupation of the development revised proposals for visitor cycle parking shall be submitted to and agreed in writing with the Planning Authority. The layout of the visitor cycle parking shall comply with the critical dimensions for same provided in Section 6.5 of the National Transport Authority’s Cycle Design Manual, 2023. b) Cycle parking shall be secure, conveniently located, sheltered and well lit. Shower and changing facilities shall also be provided as part of the development. Key/fob access shall be required to bicycle compounds. Cycle parking design shall allow both wheel and frame to be locked. c) Prior to occupation of the development, a Car Parking Management Plan shall be prepared for the site and submitted for the written agreement of the Planning Authority. This shall indicate how spaces will be assigned and how use of the car parking will be continually managed. d) 55 no. car parking spaces shall be permanently allocated to the permitted nursing home use. Car parking shall not be sold, rented or otherwise sub-let or leased to other parties. e) The applicant/developer shall undertake to implement the measures outlined in the Mobility Management Plan and to ensure that future tenants and visitors to the development comply with this strategy.
