5. The applicant shall comply with the following transportation planning requirements of the planning authority: (i) Prior to the commencement of development, the applicant shall submit revised details of short-term cycle parking for the written agreement of the Planning Authority. These details shall include the provision of 3no. Sheffield stands to be installed within the adjacent public footpath, to serve the café and visitor requirements of the development. The stands shall be positioned to avoid obstruction to pedestrian movement, shall comply with relevant standards set out in the Cycle Design Manual 2023 and shall be designed to allow users to secure both the frame and wheels of their bicycles. The installation of these stands shall be carried out at the applicant’s expense, subject to agreement with the relevant local authority department regarding placement within the public realm. These stands shall be in place and ready for immediate use prior to the occupation the restaurant / café hereby approved. (ii) A minimum 4no. cycle parking spaces shall be provided for residential element of the development. Cycle parking shall be secure, conveniently located, sheltered and well lit and shall be in place and ready for immediate use prior to the occupation of any of the residential units hereby approved. (iii) All costs incurred by Dublin City Council, including any repairs to the public road and services necessary as a result of the development, shall be at the expense of the developer.
