7. The developer shall comply with the following conservation requirements of the Planning Authority: b) Prior to the commencement of the development, the applicant shall submit for the written approval of the planning authority: (i) 1:20 drawings of the proposed French doors and architraves to rear elevation and return. The application shall also provide a salvage strategy for the obsolete sash windows and sills. (ii) 1:20 drawings of proposed internal doors and architraves. New doors / architraves shall be sympathetic to the architectural character of the Protected Structure. (iii) Services drawing to show proposed MEP routes. Ventilation openings shall not be placed on the front elevation. (iv) A strategy with specification to address any potential damp penetration at basement level noting tanking measures or the application of dry lining are not supported. The applicant may consider naturally insulated lime render or a calcium silicate board system to insulate internal faces of walls where no historic plasterwork or joinery survives and where condensation risk would not arise. (v) Revised drawings to reduce the number of return roof roof-lights to two in total. (vi) Revised method statement for new pointing shall confirm the proposed use of NHL 2 only and shall omit the proposed use of NHL 3.5. Method statement shall be updated to omit the proposed abrasive cleaning techniques for masonry. (vii) Detailed drawings at 1:20 of the proposed front site retaining wall to understand how it would be constructed, the proposed materials to be used and if it would be visible from the street. The top of the wall shall be kept as low to the retained lawn level as possible to minimise its visibly from the public realm.
