5. Transport The development shall comply with the following Transportation Planning Division requirements: a) 10 no. bicycle parking spaces shall be provided. Prior to commencement of development, the applicant shall submit revised drawings indicating the location of the bicycle parking spaces for the written agreement of the Planning Authority. All bicycle spaces shall be placed in a sheltered, visible location and designed to allow both frame and wheel to be locked. All bicycle infrastructure shall be in place prior to commencement of the use. b) All costs incurred by Dublin City Council, including any repairs to the public road and services necessary as a result of the development, shall be at the expense of the developer. c) The developer shall be obliged to comply with the requirements set out in the Code of Practice. Reason: In the interest of road safety and orderly development and ensure that adequate bicycle parking provision is available to serve the proposed development, in the interest of sustainable transportation.
