4. The following requirements of the Planning Authority’s Conservation Section shall be fully complied with in the proposed development; b) Prior to the commencement of the development, the applicant shall submit for the written approval of the Planning Authority: (i) Revised ground floor plans to omit the longitudinal subdivision of the rear room south. The historic chimneybreast shall remain fully legible. (ii) Revised drawings and junction details between the rear eaves and extension to allow for the retention of the historic eaves and gutter detail. A new gutter shall be cast-iron in a historically accurate profile. The drawing shall indicate if the cast-iron gutter would discharge to the new roof of the extension or to a cast-iron gutter on the rear elevation. Reason: In order to protect the original fabric, character and integrity of the Protected Structure at No. 4 Lawrence’s Road and to ensure that the proposed works are carried out in accordance with best conservation practice.
