4. The Applicant shall comply with the following conservation requirements of the Planning Authority as follows: b. Prior to the commencement of the development, the applicant shall submit the following for the written approval of the planning authority: i. Any proposed roof lights shall be conservation grade roof-lights. A specification for the proposed roof lights shall be submitted together with a 1:50 section drawing of the proposed roof lights and light-wells. Where the proposed roof lights are installed, Blue Bangor slates shall be set aside and reused for the repairs to the roof and where it is proposed to remove roof lights. iv. The applicant shall submit detailed specifications for the proposed casement sand fixed lights. x. The applicant shall submit a specification for the proposed stairs and 1:20 drawings of the proposed new stairs illustrating the proposed design of its balustrade and side elevation when viewed from the lower ground floor hall. A cross section showing its interrelationship with the historic stairs between upper ground floor and first floor is also to be provided. The proposed balustrade shall be based on surviving original examples of historic stairs from Nos. 59, 60, 61 and 62 in the same terrace. xi. The applicant shall submit details of the proposed fire surrounds/ chimney pieces. The use of architectural salvage from other buildings is not supported as it encourages the dismantling of original fabric.
