7. The following requirements of the Planning Authority’s Conservation Section shall be fully complied with: (a) In advance of works commencing on site, the applicant/developer shall submit the following information for their written approval: i. The applicant/developer shall submit a detailed set of record drawings for the extant small rear return and a salvage strategy for the historic materials to allow for the retention and incorporation of the historic materials in a meaningful manner within the redevelopment or for the authentic repair / reinstatement of similar structures. ii. The applicant/developer shall consider an alternative insulating material for the roof dormer that might result in a further reduction of the thickness of the dormer cheeks as this would have a significant impact on the character of the new dormer and subsequently on the rear of the Protected Structure. iii. Revised MEP services drawings to show the impact of the proposed drainage and water supply strategy for the proposed master ensuite and if any riser /soil pipe / water pipes would impact the cornice / historic ceilings of the room below. Where feasible, existing routes shall be reused.
