EXPP: The scheme proposes to partially demolish part of a later extension to the rear of the property and chimney at the rear return in connection with the provision of a new extension under class 50(b). Please note that the later extension abuts the neighbour's extension of a similar age, but the party wall between both properties is not to be demolished. Clarification is sought on the demolition exemption under class 50(b) for this scheme as it is partially demolishing a building that adjoins a neighbouring property. In particular, do the conditions outlined of class 50 apply to class 50(b).
