Description

The development will consist of a change of use from office use to residential use as a single-family dwelling. The development will also consist of alterations and conservation works to the exterior and interior of the existing building to include the following: Removal of single storey extension (47sqm) to rear garden and the reconstruction of the existing three-storey rear return (35sqm total over three levels); Provision of a modest, single storey extension (20sqm) to the rear at lower ground floor level; Modifications to some internal walls and door openings including the removal of the non-original draught lobby to the main entrance; Provision of en-suite and family bathroom at first floor level; Cleaning and re-pointing of brickwork to front elevation; Upgrade of existing original and non-original sash windows to provide slimlite double glazing in place of modern plate glass and replacement of modern top-hung windows with sliding sash windows; General repair, upgrade and refurbishment of the existing fabric including repairs to the existing window surrounds, facades and roof fabric including valleys and rainwater goods; Provision of 2no. new roof lights within the internal valley of the main roof; Landscaping works to front garden, and all ancillary and associated site works.
