5. The following requirements of the Conservation Division shall be adhered to: (b) The applicant shall submit the following information to the Conservation Officer for their written agreement in advance of works commencing: (i) The applicant shall clarify the material and dimensions of the signage and lettering to the fascia. (ii) The proposed width of the corporate signage lettering shall be in proportion to the width and depth of the vertical panel and shall be 450mm wide as a maximum. (iii) Suitable illumination of the shopfront to be discreet, by concealed illumination where the fascia details permit or by rear illumination of the individual letters. (iv) The colouring and intensity of illumination to be complementary to the overall shopfront design and architectural context.
