Description
11. Prior to commencement of development, and on appointment of a Main Contractor, a Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) having regard to the Environmental Impact Assessment Report shall be submitted to the planning authority for written agreement. This CEMP shall provide detail of the implementation of construction environmental management and mitigation measures and the intended construction practice for the development including a detailed Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP), hours of working, noise and dust management measures and off-site disposal of construction/demolition waste. i. The CTMP shall include a Mobility Management Plan, which shall provide targets and measures to promote and encourage sustainable travel by construction staff. ii. An assessment of up-to-date traffic survey data shall be provided in support of construction vehicle access / egress from Victoria Quay; additional construction access / egress from other roads adjoining the site shall be considered for periods of possible high construction traffic volumes. iii. The CTMP shall have regard to potential concurrent construction phases of the Liffey Cycle Route. The applicant/developer shall engage with DCC Active Travel Unit to ensure that the required construction works do not negatively impact the delivery of this project.
