EXPP: PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Proposed remedial works to the protected structure, The Shelbourne Hotel (RPS No. 7778), 27-33 St. Stephen's Green North, Dublin 2. The works comprise the temporary lifting of existing historic floorboards within the hotel's Heritage Wings to facilitate fire protection upgrades. These upgrades involve the installation of a fire-rated fibre board system between the existing floor joists in areas where the existing lath and plaster ceilings have been identified as having compartmentation issues, in order to achieve compliance with the granted fire safety certificate for the property. Upon completion of the fire protection works, all original floorboards will be reinstated in their original locations.
