Lansdowne Valley Owners’ Management CLG intend to apply for permission for development at Lansdowne Gate Apartments, Long Mile Road, Drimnagh, Dublin 12 (site area c. 1.75 ha). The proposed development will consist of: Retrofitting the existing heat network with an air-source heat pump system (ASHP) (total gross floor area c. 111 sqm) to connect to the existing heat network which serves 280 no. residential units. The proposed development will comprise of the removal of existing vegetation (c. 22.3 sqm) to the north of Block D; and the construction of an ASHP compound on a structural concrete pad with plinths, enclosed by a mesh panel fence and secured with gate access consisting of a commercial 120 / 75 kW low noise heat pump, a buffer vessel / thermal store, a shunt pump (installed within a small pump house) and main circulation pump (installed within the existing boiler room); the installation of associated pipework, sensors, cabling and instrumentation to connect to the existing heat network; the provision of low level lighting and all ancillary site development and excavation works above and below ground.
