Description

EXPP: PROTECTED STRUCTURE: 1. Moving of the Font from its current, free-standing location, onto the north wall of the baptistry to replicate its original design intention; together with the removal of mid twentieth-century accretions - plinth, rear capitals and columns, together with the replacement of unsightly cement pointing with lime and sand mortar. 2. Resealing of the recently-discovered burial crypt in the west front with a neatly-fitting single piece of honed, Kilkenny limestone.
