4. The following requirements of the Planning Authority’s Conservation Section shall be fully complied with in the proposed development: b) The applicant shall submit the following architectural conservation details/revisions for the written approval of the Planning Authority: (i) Site exemplars for the removal of raking out, cleaning, patch repairs, re-facing and repointing including joint profile of the stone elevations and exposed brickwork shall be agreed on site with the Conservation Officer prior to works commencing. (ii) A sample of the proposed render finish to the garden-facing elevation is to be agreed on site with the Conservation Officer prior to works commencing. (iii) The applicant shall submit details of five recent examples of specialist brick re-pointing works carried out by the proposed contractor on protected structures of similar architectural significance in Dublin and associated references to ensure that the contractor has the requisite expertise for these works.
