Description

PROTECTED STRUCTURE We, Olympia Productions Unlimited Company, intend to apply for planning permission for the proposed development at 3Olympia Theatre, No. 72 Dame Street, Dublin 2, D02 K135 (a Protected Structure listed under RPS Ref. No. 2127). The proposed development will consist of the demolition of the roof and side wall of the disused plant room to create an external plant area to the rear of the Theatre; the installation of a new air handling unit, air source heat pump and associated ductwork; new ventilation grilles to the Sycamore Street and Crampton Court elevations; new roof-level louvres, flush with the existing roof plane; provision of safe roof access measures including guard rails, gantry stair and permanent ladders; localised repair and repointing of brickwork to the Sycamore Street elevation and at parapet level with associated flashing works; and all ancillary and associated works, including internal finishes to accommodate the ventilation system.
