7. The following Parks and Biodiversity requirements of the Planning Authority shall be complied with: (iii) Prior to the commencement the applicant will confirm the appointment of a project ecologist to the planning authority for written agreement. The appointed ecologist will oversee the implementation and monitoring of all mitigation measures within the application’s Ecological Impact Assessment and report on their status to the Planning Authority. All mitigation measures contained within the Ecological Impact Assessment report shall be carried out. No tree felling shall occur within the bird nesting season (March to August inclusive).The ecologist will work with the project design team to introduce measures, such as habitat creation/ restoration that will enhance the biodiversity value, and submit a biodiversity enhancement plan to the planning authority for agreement prior to commencement of construction.
