5. The following conditions from The Conservation Unit to be complied with: c) In advance of work commencing on site, the applicant shall submit the following information for the written agreement of the Conservation Officer: (i) Samples of the proposed new finishes to the new extensions, including metal finishes, and fenestration. A sample of the proposed granite including details of joints, mortar colour and coursing shall be submitted for the written agreement of the Conservation Officer prior to the commencement of the works onsite. (ii) A window schedule of all proposed new windows including specification of materials and glazing proposed. (iii) The flat roof membrane finish shall be revised to be a green roof or gravel finish on the proposed flat roof. Revised drawings and a sample of the proposed finish shall be submitted for the written agreement of the Conservation Officer, prior to the commencement of the works on site. (iv) In order to ensure that the materials, coursing, joint details and method of repair will be sympathetic to the character and respect the curtilage of the Protected Structure, a full drawing survey including photographic record of existing boundary wall and detailed schedules of any repair and reinstatement works to the original walls shall be submitted. A method statement for the raking out and re-pointing of the stonework and associated repair details shall be provided. Details of the historic stone coursing, sizes of stone as well as mortar colour shall be provided, as well as full details of any proposed new element, such as toothing-in and repair work that shall be required. All new elements shall match the historic wall. All shall be provided for the written agreement of the Conservation Officer. (v) The applicant shall confirm the proposed damp proofing works and shall submit a method statement and drawings describing the extent of the works. (vi) The applicant shall submit existing and proposed drawings of the main entrance hall at first floor level at a scale of 1:20, clearly noting the existing historic features in the room and include drawings of the proposed archway between the entrance hall and landing. (vii) The applicant shall submit details of the current condition of the ceiling within the attic space in the existing two-storey bay of the house over the proposed new stairs, noting any historic fabric and the proposed works for the removal of the attic and proposed finish of the new ceiling. (viii) Room elevations at 1:20 of the proposed master dressing room and ensuite, which clearly show the proposed height of the partitions and the legibility of the chimney breast retained. Details of any structural work required to the floor to support the weight of any stone or bath in the proposed ensuite shall also be submitted.
