4. The following requirements of the Conservation Division shall be strictly adhered to: c) During the course of the development, the applicant shall submit for the written approval of the planning authority: i. Floor plan drawings showing all proposed floor finishes. Where sound, extant historic floorboards exist in circulation areas and principal rooms, these shall be utilised rather than floating laminate flooring. Historic floorboards shall not be comprehensively sanded although localised sanding/preparation may be required to remove any previously applied adhesive. Carpet is also acceptable. Drawings shall indicate appropriate floor finishes for bathrooms and kitchen areas.
