3. Prior to the commencement of the development, the application shall submit/facilitate the following for the written approval of the Conservation Officer: Replacement windows and front entrance door (vii) The proposed details for replacement of existing windows with new 6-over-6 timber sash windows shall be based on authentic surviving windows at No. 23 and No. 26 Pearse Square. The information provided on drawing 2107W427 shall be revised to indicate an appropriate simple convex horn profile, and include a 1:5 detail of the proposed glazing bar profile, based on the existing profile at No. 23 or 26 Pearse Square. (viii) The Applicant shall demonstrate that the glazing bar can accommodate the proposed slim-profile double-glazed unit. The use of a slim profiled glazing with shards of glass between panes, which gives an unsympathetic fritted glass effect, is not supported. As indicated on the drawings, glazing shall be putty-fixed. Colour of spacers within the double glazed units shall be chosen to minimise their visual impact.
