2. The Developer shall comply with the following conservation requirements as follows: a) Prior to commencement of development the Developer shall submit the following for the written approval of the Planning Authority: i. Revised lower ground floor drawings demonstrating that meaningful nibs of the historic rear elevation shall be retained within the scheme. ii. Revised drawing to omit the wire mesh from the interstitial gap between the boundary wall and extension and its replacement with heavy lead flashing. iii. Revised specification for cast-iron rainwater goods in lieu of cast-aluminium. iv. Confirmation that the pointing of steps would be carried out using lime mortar in lieu of a ‘waterplug’ pointing system, which shall be omitted. v. Revised specification to omit the use of water repellent on stone steps. vi. Updated method statement for the installation of new sash windows to show that expanding foam shall be omitted from the proposal between the gap between the masonry and timber.
