5. The development shall comply with the following requirements of the Conservation Section: f) During the course of the development, the applicant shall submit the following for the written approval of the planning authority. (iv) New slim-line double glazing units shall only be permitted to windows that have modern glazing. The new frames should have a traditional putty finish to the exterior. Details of the proposed new glazing should also be submitted. The applicant shall be satisfied that any proposed slim-line glass replacements conform to EU directives. New slim-line glazing units which have visible spacers, fritted glass, plant-on glazing bars will not be accepted as they would have an adverse visual impact on the character of the Protected Structure.
