4. The proposed development shall comply with the following requirements of the Conservation Division: b. In advance of works commencing on site, the applicant shall submit the following information to the Planning Authority for their written agreement: vi. The applicant shall submit samples of five projects of a similar nature carried out by each specialist heritage contractors for the repair of historic finishes (for instance pointing of historic brick work and ironwork repair etc.). c. During the course of the development, and in advance of this package of works commencing, the applicant shall submit for the written approval of the planning authority: i. Revised specifications and methodologies showing g=flush pointing of brickwork to the front boundary using NHL 2 lime mortar. The mortar mixes shall be submitted for the written approval of the Conservation Officer. ii. Samples of brickwork raking, cleaning, wig-repointing, flush repointing, brick repairs, new brickwork etc. shall be prepared for inspection and written approval of the Conservation Officer.
