3. The following requirements of the Planning Authority’s Conservation Section shall be fully complied with in the proposed development: (a) The applicant shall submit the following architectural conservation details/revisions for the written approval of the Planning Authority prior to the commencement of development: (ii) Samples of the proposed brick finish to the new extension including joint finish shall be provided for the approval of the Planning Authority. (iii) 1:20 drawings accompanied by 1:5 glazing bar details of the round-headed window to the stairs demonstrating the reinstatement of its historic extent. (iv) Confirmation that new slate will be Blue Bangor natural slate and all new rainwater goods will be cast-iron to the Protected Structure. (v) Full repair and reinstatement schedules (condition surveys, specifications, and methodologies) shall be submitted to the planning authority for written agreement prior to commencement to avoid loss or damage to original fabric. (b) The applicant shall submit the following architectural conservation details/revisions for the written approval of the Planning Authority: (i) Following provision of a scaffold to the front façades, the Conservation Officer shall be given the opportunity to inspect the existing render to the historic elevations of the Protected Structure and agree a strategy for the repair/reinstatement of lime render. (ii) A detailed methodology for the treatment of the render shall be submitted for agreement, accompanied by marked up elevation drawings shall be submitted for written agreement. (iii) Site samples of the proposed render shall be agreed on site with the Conservation Officer prior to these works commencing.
