8. The developer shall comply with the following conservation requirements: b) In advance of works commencing on site, the applicant shall submit the following information to the Planning Authority for inclusion in the planning file: • All historic paving including the historic setts to the front entrance of the site along Fitzgibbon Street shall be protected throughout construction works and their survival shall be ensured. A conservation methodology for the protection of these setts shall be submitted to the Planning Authority in advance of works commencing on site. • A conservation methodology for the proposed demolition of the extant structures shall be provided. A detailed structural report, informed by best conservation practice of the proposed demolition works shall be provided. The applicant shall ensure that the adjoining lodge building remains fully secure throughout and following the demolition works and that it is appropriately weatherproofed following demolition works. Details of these works must be agreed with the owner of the lodge in advance of works commencing and a copy of the proposals issued to the Conservation Officer for their comment. • In advance of works commencing on site, the applicant shall submit a full drawing survey including photographic record of all existing boundary walls surrounding the site to the Planning Authority. The applicant shall ensure that the parts of the wall that still retain all historic elements such as calp limestone and historic brickwork are retained, protected, consolidated and repaired as part of this new proposal. Detailed schedules of the repair and reinstatement works that are required to the historic elements of the walls should be fully detailed. Full details of all proposed new elements and repair work that shall be required shall be provided. All new elements will complement the historic walls. • The applicant shall provide a detailed drawn and photographic record of the extant historic structures that are proposed for demolition at this site.
