5. The development shall comply with the following requirements of the Conservation Section: f) During the course of the development, the applicant shall submit the following for the written approval of the planning authority. (vii) Confirmation of the use or omission of a radon barrier. Clarification of the proposed installation of any materials to mitigate damp ingress. The applicant shall note that the use of a tanking membrane or dry-lining is not supported by the Conservation Section and shall be omitted. The application may consider sacrificial lime plaster or a calcium silicate board in lieu of tanking / dry-lining.
