Description
22. The applicant shall submit the following architectural conservation details/revisions for the written approval of the Planning Authority prior to the commencement of development: (i) Following clearing out of detritus and recent fixtures and fittings from the Protected Structure, the applicant is to submit a comprehensive and detailed photographic record cross-referenced against a drawn record of the interior of No. 152 Harold’s Cross with historic fabric and architectural features identified particularly to the upper floors. (ii) Revised fully detailed methodologies, informed by good conservation practice, on how new work and how conservation repairs shall be carried out throughout the Protected Structure (iii) Detailed drawings that co-ordinate structural intervention, services installation including service routes and general upgrading and repair works to the fabric of the Protected Structure. (iv) A detailed window survey of original windows found along the historic terrace shall be carried out by the applicant. The window survey should include a detailed description of any existing historic timber windows, their condition and all required repairs. It should include detailed photographs and measured drawings of the existing historic windows. All proposed replacements must be historically correct timber sash windows, which are accurately based on originals found elsewhere along the street. 1:10 drawings and details of the proposed new windows and glazing should be submitted. The installation of new glazing as part of energy efficiency upgrades it to be approved with the Conservation Officer prior to works commencing.
