2. The developer shall comply with the following conditions from the Conservation Section: c. The applicant shall submit the following information for the written agreement of the Conservation Officer in advance of works commencing on site: i. The applicant shall clarify: The proposed service runs and location for battery storage. ii. The location of associated equipment such as pipe routes and/or hot water tank should be considered carefully and included as part of the application, clearly indicating any impacts on surviving historic fabric. iii. The location of solar batteries should be carefully considered due to the potential increased fire risk associated with them. Consideration of alarm systems that could be put in place to indicate a potential issue. iv. Cable runs shall be located between joists and / or through existing service runs in order to avoid notching and any further impact on historic fabric. The applicant shall clarify the direction of the joists. v. The method statement should include as much detail as possible including accurate details of where the solar installations are to be located, together with details of likely impacts of the works to historic fabric, and other details such as openings, maintenance hatches, fixing of panels and how service routes will be accommodated through the roof structure. vi. Where roof timbers and/or floor joists need to be strengthened for structural reasons, details of those works should also be submitted.
