3. Prior to commencement of development details of the timber cladding material shall be provided for the written agreement of the Planning Authority. The cladding shall specify whether it will be untreated to allow natural weathering or coated in a weatherproofing lacquer/varnish. If the timber is to be bare faced then it shall not be cedar and a more uniformly aging wood such as larch should be considered. Photographic examples of the timber in use elsewhere in Dublin shall accompany the submission. Reason: In the interest of the orderly development of the streetscape and the visual amenities of this residential conservation area.
