Description

2. The developer shall comply with the following requirements of the Conservation Officer of Dublin City Council; a) The applicant shall submit the following architectural conservation details/revisions for the written approval of the Planning Authority prior to the commencement of development: (i) Updated Architectural Heritage Impact Assessment including photographs of the joinery pertaining to the stairs and any evidence for the stairs in scarring along the wall. (ii) 1:50 plan drawings of the existing and proposed upper and ground floors demonstrating all proposed interventions to facilitate the insertion of the stairs. (iii) 1:20 drawings of the proposed new stairs illustrating the proposed thread layout and side elevation when viewed from the lower ground floor hall. A cross section showing its interrelationship with the historic stairs between upper ground floor and first floor is also to be provided. (iv) Justification for the design of the stairs, i.e. is this based on the historic stairs within the property or surviving historic basement stairs within neighbouring houses.
