4. The development hereby permitted shall incorporate the following amendments. The developer shall submit revised plans, details and drawings showing these amendments, and shall obtain the written agreement of the planning authority prior to commencement of development: a) The proposed side gabled roof shall be amended to incorporate a small hip, which shall extend to a minimum of 0.75m below the main ridge height and shall be parallel with the slope of the original hipped roof. The revised plans shall show the amendments to the roof profile and any amendments to the attic floor plan necessary as a result of the proposed amendment. b) The new window in the side gable shall be replaced with a rooflight. c) The two front rooflights shall be omitted. d) The rear dormer shall be clad in slates/tiles to match the existing roof. Reason: To protect the visual amenities and character of the surrounding area.
